(May 30, 2015) -- LBPD has identified the person killed in the May 27 officer-involved shooting (4600 block E. 15th St.) as Feras Morad, 20, of Woodland Hills. (A statement dated May 30, added to its May 28 release in red font states: "The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has completed notification of the next of kin. The suspect has been identified as Feras Morad, 20-years-old, of Woodland Hills.")

(May 30, 2015) -- In response to a request by LBREPORT.com for the identity of a decedent in a newsworthy event, the L.A. County Coroner's office this morning (May 30) informed us that LBPD has placed a security hold on information related to the May 27 officer-involved shooting (4600 block E. 15th St.)
