(May 17, 2015) -- LBREPORT.com has follow-up to an incident reported as breaking on LBREPORT.com's front page late Saturday afternoon (May 16) in which LBPD responded to the 4600 block of E. 14th St. (14th-Ximeno, 15th-Roycroft area) at late afternoon, conducted a precautionary investigation and summoned L.A. LBPD Lt. Dina Zapalski tells LBREPORT.com that LBPD arrested Peter Nicholas Gazerro on suspicion of possessing a destructive device, vandalism and CA Penal Code section 20110a (allegedly "assembles, maintains, places, or causes to be placed a boobytrap device.")
At the height of the incident, LBPD evacuated a nearby area (roughly a block) as a precaution and nearby streets were blocked off (routine for similar incidents.) Lt. Zapalski indicates things wrapped up in roughly the 9:00-9:30 p.m. time period. [Scroll down for further.]
