LB Activist T.J. Norcutt, Seriously Injured In Nov. 3 710 Fwy. Multicar Pileup, Would Welcome Cards, Letters, Says Familymember

(November 24, 2002) -- Veteran LB activist T.J. Norcutt, who was among those seriously injured in the horrific November 3 multicar pileup on the 710 freeway, would welcome receiving cards and letters from her friends and supporters, a family member tells LBReport.com.

Ms. Norcutt's daughter Victoria, with whom LBReport.com has been in contact since shortly after the accident, tells us cards, letters and positive messages encouraging a speedy recovery are now welcome "to inspire her on her long road to recovery."

    They should be sent to:

    T.J. Norcutt
    c/o Care House
1800 Old Tustin Ave., Rm. 416A
    Santa Ana, CA 92701

During a recent Council meeting, 1st district Councilwoman Bonnie Lowenthal publicly praised Ms. Norcutt's work in LB over the years and wished her the best in her recovery.

Heavy fog was said to be a major factor in the chain reaction accidents involving over 190 vehicles that took place shortly before 7 a.m. in the vicinity generally south of Del Amo. Blvd.
