(Nov. 22, 2009) -- An ELB business on Carson St. just west of Bellflower Blvd. was robbed on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 22).
Initial information is sketchy. LBPD Public Information Officer Jackie Bezart tells LBReport.com that shortly after 4:00 p.m. a white male in his late teens/early twenties entered the business, demanded cash...and possibly had a weapon in his waistband. The suspect fled on foot.
An investigation is ongoing. At early evening, LBPD says it's currently unknown if there's a connection between today's robbery and a string of six ELB/SE LB armed robberies (and one in adjacent Lakewood), previously reported by LBReport.com.
