(Nov. 10, 2009) -- Today's LATimes.com has a timely piece indicating that at least 120 cities and eight counties in CA have banned medical marijuana shops [subhead text] "fearing crime and profiteering. Some cited the proliferation of dispensaries in L.A."
As separately reported on LBReport.com, the LB City Council is scheduled tonight to consider a draft ordinance (framework from City Attorney's office) by which the City could regulate medical marijuana operations in LB. The ultimate policy decision on what the ordinance will or won't contain (within legal limits) will be made by a majority of the City Council.
LBReport.com will provide a live video embed of tonight's City Council meeting easily visible on our front page -- www.lbreport.com -- starting at 5 p.m.
