Nov. 5. Update / Follow-Up: Cong. Alan Lowenthal Provides This Response re (1) CA Cancer Patient's WSJ Op-Ed re "Affordable Care Act"; And (2) If He'll Introduce Or Support Legislation To Allow Greater Freedom / Flexibility
(Nov. 4, 2013) -- Earlier today (Nov. 4), LBREPORT.com linked to the Wall Street Journal op-ed below:

Edie Littlefield Sundby: You Also Can't Keep Your Doctor.
I had great cancer care and health insurance. My plan was cancelled. Now I worry how long I'll live.

We asked Cong. Lowenthal's Communications Director, Keith Higginbotham, the following by email:

Does Cong. Lowenthal (1) have any comment(s) on the CA cancer patient’s op-ed...in today's (Nov. 4) WSJ? (2) Does the Congressman plan to introduce or support legislation that would amend the ACA to deem adequate health care coverage that consumers may wish to carry, and insurance companies may wish to offer, but the ACA as currently written deems inadequate under its terms?

In February 2013, Ms. Littlefield Sundby put up a Facebook page, documenting a 793 mile walk she undertook along the old El Camino Real mission trail from San Diego to Sonoma - 55 days, avg. 14 ½ miles a day "to celebrate life and God's Grace."

It's at www.facebook.com/EdiesMissionWalk.

We'll publish Congressman Lowenthal's response as received.

UPDATE: And we did receive his reply on Nov. 5. It's at this link here.

LBREPORT.com changed our text above on Nov. 5 to reflect Mr. Higginbotham's title as Communications Director
