Initial information: LBPD Public Information Officer Marlene Arrona told LBREPORT.com that at about 11:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to shots heard in the area of the 1500 block of Sherman Place and found a man (adult) wounded about a block east in the area of 15th St./Stanton Pl. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
