(Dec. 4, 2016, 5:25 p.m.) -- Dan Pressburg tells us the community is invited to the 17th annual Uptown North Long Beach Community Christmas Party -- Sunday Dec. 4, 3-6 p.m. -- at the Historic LB Dairy and Creamery, 167 E. South St.

It's open to the public, and you're asked to bring your favorite dish and a wrapped ornament for the event's Christmas game.

The event is jointly hosted by the NLB Community Action Group, Deforest Neighborhood Ass'n, Houghton Park Neighborhood Ass'n, Grant Neighborhood Ass'n, Long Beach Dairy and Creamery Historic Landmark and South Street Community Watch.
