(Nov. 19, 2017) -- Parts of North Long Beach's 9th Council district saw/heard gunfire on Saturday night (Nov. 18.)

LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Brad Johnson tells LBREPORT.com that in the 7 p.m. hour, a caller reported shots-fired and LBPD officers found shell casings in the area of 68th St./Paramount Blvd. (with a suspicious vehicle last seen headed toward the 91 freeway.)

Just minutes later at 7:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 6600 block of Cherry Ave. regarding a window to a business shot out.

No injuries were reported at either location. LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
