(October 18, 2002) -- LBReport.com posts a link below to the Academic Performance Index (API) scores for LB schools, released by the CA Dept. of Education.

The API is a numeric index ranging from 200 to 1000, with 800 the statewide "goal."

The CA Dept. of Eduction considers last year's (2001) API scores a "baseline" for "growth targets." A school’s "growth target" is 5% of the difference between the school’s base API and the statewide performance target of 800. 2002 LB Academic Performance Index scores

Each school's API score includes results of the Stanford 9 test and the California Standards Test for English-language arts (ELA), part of CA's Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program previously reported by LBReport.com.
