(October 23, 2003) -- LBPD reports that a 48-year old LB man was fatally shot while standing in the 1500 block of East 68th St. shortly after 8 p.m. on Oct. 22.

Police say their preliminary investigation indicates the victim was approached by an unknown suspect who opened fire on him. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
