(October 5, 2004) -- American Airlines has announced that it will discontinue its daily non-stop flights between LB and NYC (JFK airport) effective November 1.

In a release dated October 4, the carrier said it is also discontinuing its NYC-Phoenix service effective the same date.

American Airlines had two flights per day on the LB-NYC route. AA also currently provides Dallas-Fort Worth service from LB.
