Did You See it? Long Beach (And L.A.-OC) Got Clear View Of Int'l Space Station Nearly Directly Overhead Early Evening Monday (Oct. 27)


(Oct. 27, 2014) -- Did you see it? As previewed in an advisory on LBREPORT.com, the International Space Station was clearly visible tonight as it passed nearly directly over Long Beach and the L.A.-OC area., first

The spacecraft appeared the NW sky about 6:57 p.m., rose to a height of 82 degrees (90 degrees is straight up) at 7:00 p.m...and then headed into the SE sky, and disappearing at 7:03 p.m.

At its closest point, the spacecraft was only 261 miles above us.
