Smoke Plume From Santa Fe Springs [Further, scroll down]
(Oct. 4, 2014, 7:27 p.m.) -- A smoke plume from a four-alarm chemical fire in Santa Fe Springs was clearly visible on Saturday afternoon from Long Beach.
Photo below was captured by Charlie McGrail in the 4 p.m. hour in the area of Palo Verde/Wardlow.
No official word yet on exactly what chemicals were in that smoke plume...but the smoke was blowing away from Long Beach at midafternoon. Further as we learn it.
