(Oct. 3, 2015, 6:05 p.m.) -- LBPD asks if there are additional victims in connection with incidents described below.

In a release, LBPD says that on October 2, 2015, it arrested a suspect on a warrant for alleged indecent exposure issued by the City Prosecutor's office after residents in the Cherry Ave./3rd St. area reported (between May-Sept. 2015) a man allegedly exposed himself (allegedly entered an apartment courtyard at night, stood in front of victims' windows, masturbated and fled via surrounding alleys.)

LBPD Detectives believe there may be additional victims...and if so, they hope they will come forward now.

LBPD says it increased area patrols in working to locate the suspect...and on September 24, 2015, West Division officers spotted a suspicious person lurking in an alley; they forwarded the information to detectives and through their investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Ryan McClain, 24, of Long Beach.

Detectives presented their case to the LB City Prosecutor's Office, which filed the case and issued a warrant for McClain's arrest. On October 2, 2015, East Division Directed Enforcement Officers located McClain in the area of Broadway/Cherry Avenue, took him into custody on the outstanding warrant and he's currently being held at L.A. County jail on $75,000 bail pending arraignment.

LBPD's investigation is ongoing and detectives are attempting to identify additional victims. Anyone who has been a victim and hasn't yet reported the incident to police, or anyone who has information regarding this case, is encouraged to contact Long Beach Police Special Victims Section Detectives Stacey Holdredge and Patrick Jennings at (562) 570-7368.
