(Oct. 8, 2016, 1:45 p.m.) -- The City of Long Beach warns in a release that it will cite and tow vehicles parked along Sunday's Marathon course after 12:01 a.m. Sunday.

Event organizers have provided a pdf flier at this link.

LBREPORT.com offers unofficial tip: be sure to avoid PCH where it crosses Clark Ave./E. Anaheim St. If you're get there while runners are running, you could end up waiting for 5-10-15-to-nearly-20 minutes (which happened to us) until there's a break in the runners. It's hard to exit PCH as one approaches Clark/Anaheim on PCH from either direction...so we suggest avoiding PCH anywhere near PCH/Anaheim/Clark on Sunday. (The organizers say that location area will reopen to traffic at 12:30 p.m...but we stand by our advice.)
