(October 19, 2018, 11:25 a.m.) -- A man (adult) was shot/wounded overnight roughly a block north of Poly High (area PCH/Lime Ave, 6th Council district.)

In preliminary information, LBPD Public Information Officer Alvino Herrera (East Patrol) tells LBREPORT.com that a local hospital notified LBPD regarding a male with a gunshot wound (the procedure is routine); the victim indicated the shooting occurred in the area of PCH/Lime Ave.; LBPD located the crime scene...but the victim couldn't describe the suspect(s) or vehicle.

LBPD described the victim's injuries as "non-life-threatening" and LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
