The opening page contains a notice and disclaimer with caveats that should be read carefully before use. Among the caveats: the online map locations are intentionally offset to the center of a block to prohibit an exact location from being determined with the online map. However, the detailed information is available for viewing at terminals at local law enforcement agencies...including the LBPD.

The same CA law that makes this information available also makes it a crime to use the information to harass or commit a crime against another person, including a previously convicted sex offender.
