    Woman Dies After Being Shot in Head, Found In Alley 1200 Block b/w Junipero & Raymond Aves.


    (Sept. 30, 2002) -- In a sad ending to a horrible crime first reported on LBReport.com, a 35 year old LB woman has died after being shot in the head and found in an alley in the 1200 block between Junipero and Raymond Avenues in the 4th Council district.

    Police responded to the area on Saturday, Sept. 28 at roughly 11:40 p.m. in response to a "shots fired" call and found the mortally wounded woman.

    Police say the motive for the shooting is presently unknown. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call LBPD Homicide Detectives Stephen Jones and Mark McGuire at (562) 570-7244.
