(September 2, 2005) -- A driver headed eastbound on 7th St. approaching Almond Ave. (just east of Orange Ave.) was shot and sustained serious wounds in the predawn hours today (Sept. 2).

Details are sketchy as we post. LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt tells LBReport.com that at about 2:45 a.m., LBPD received reports of "shots fired" and arrived to find the driver (sole passenger) of an SUV shot and seriously wounded.
