[Earlier today] (Sept. 7, 2014, 10:30 a.m.) -- LBReport.com has learned that multiple City of Long Beach radio communication channels -- including Police (LBPD), Fire (LBFD), LB Airport and other city services -- suffered what appeared to be a complete disruption of service at some point(s) this morning (Sun. Sept. 7) for a period of time we do not yet know and for reasons not presently clear. LBREPORT.com became aware of the disruption in the 8:00 a.m. hour Sun. Sept. 7 [and we didn't report it while it was taking place.] As of 10:15 a.m., LBPD Public Information Officer Marlene Arrona indicated its operations have now been partially restored. Further as we learn it on LBREPORT.com.
