(Sept. 9, 2015) -- In the 5 p.m. hour on Sept. 9 (after the temp hit 103 degrees about three hours earlier, with a heat index of 106, at LB Airport), there were five SCE outages in various parts of LB.
One was in 90808 (began at 1:22 p.m.) affecting 297 SCE customers (metered accounts, so multiply the customer number a few times for residents affected.)
Other areas were smaller: Two in WLB: 90810 (52 customers), 90810 (44 customers). One in 90807 (20 customers). And one in shoreline 90803 (24 customers) to which SCE lists estimated restoration about 12:15 a.m.
