Gunfire Damages Vehicle, No Persons Hit, Area 11th St./Gaviota Ave.

(Sept. 16, 2016) -- Gunfire flew at midafternoon Wednesday Sept. 14 in the Central LB-Cambodian-town area of E. 11th St./Gaviota Ave. (south of Anaheim St., east of Walnut Ave.) and a vehicle was damaged but no persons appear to have been struck.

LBPD Public Information Officer Marlene Arrona says that at about 4:00 p.m. on Sept. 14, officers responded to shots heard in the area of 11th St. and E. Gaviota Ave. Officers determined that an unoccupied vehicle was damaged, but didn't find any injured persons.
