(Sept. 26, 2016, 2:02 p.m.) At 1:40 p.m., National Weather Service records 106 degrees at LB Airport, with (fortunately) only 7% humidity.
(Sept. 26, 2016, 1:06 p.m.) At 12:55 p.m., National Weather Service records 104 degrees at LB Airport, with (fortunately) only 7% humidity.
(Sept. 26, 2016, 12:05 p.m.) -- At 11:55 a.m., National Weather Service records 102 degrees at LB Airport, with (fortunately) only 8% humidity.
(Sept. 26, 2016, 5:30 a.m.) -- The Nat'l Weather Service predicts Monday highs in Long Beach will range from 95 at the shore (90803) to 101 inland (90808) with winds from 10-15 mph. It will be blessedly dry with low humidity; winds out of the northeast from 10-15 mph.

Temps should drop to about 90 by Tuesday and cool slowly therafter.

Sunday's high at LB Airport reached 99.
