(UPDATED Sept. 27, 2016, 7:25 a.m.) -- Monday's high temperature at LB Airport reached 106 degrees (blasting through a forecast high of 101) and LGB's temp stayed at or above 100 degrees (with single digit humidity from 7-9%) until 4:00 p.m. when temps began to decline. By 6:00 p.m. it was 93 degrees with 12% humidity.

[Update] As of Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service says 97 will be Tuesday's high (Sept. 27) in 90808, and by the coast, NWS forecasts 90 for Tuesday.
