Four BB-Gun/Pellet Shootings Overnight In Central LB

(Sept. 8, 2017, updated 1:45 p.m. from 7:55 a.m.) -- LBPD is gathering information )Sept. 8) after some person(s) used a BB-gun/pellet gun to shoot four persons in four Central Long Beach locations in the 11 p.m. hour Sept. 7).

LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Brad Johnson updated information provided earlier by LBPD's early a.m. Watch Commander. Sgt. Johnson says that at about 11:04 p.m. Sept. 7, LBPD responded to the 100 block of LB Blvd...where they found a man (adult) had been hit. He was treated and released at the scene.

Three similar incidents then occurred within the next 21 minutes: in the 100 block of E. Anaheim St. (11:05 p.m), Magnolia/25th St. (11:20 p.m.) and PCH/Atlantic (11:25 p.m.), sending three victims to hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

LBPD is in the process of gathering more information and their investigation is ongoing.
