(Sept. 19, 2018, 8:05 p.m.) -- The L.A. County Coroner's office has identified the man who died after LBPD used a taser to subdue him in the 1 a.m. hour on Sept. 17 in the 100 block of Santa Ana Ave. in Belmont Shore.
L.A. County Coroner Lt. Kelly Yager Lener tells LBREPORT.com that he was Stephen Cherry, age 50, a male Caucasian, listed as a Long Beach resident. An official cause of death is pending.
