"What is Mr. Jackson's position on the immigration issue and what are his plans to correct the problem? I've been a republican for years and am very disappointed with politics in general and Republicans in particular. Over the past several years Republicans say whatever is necessary to get elected then do the opposite of what they say.

I believe politicians do what makes them look good on prime time news so they can be elected then most wouldn't know what's the right thing to do if it bite em on the ass, and if they did they'd check the polls before acting. If you can convince me otherwise I might consider supporting you."

He captured in two short paragraphs the current problem with Politics in general and the Republican Party in particular. This is what I have been working to correct over the last 5+ years.

I called Mr. Briney and then went to his home to explain in person my positions and what I will be able to do in the short term and the long term. I gave him my opinion on the current state of the Republican Party, and explained the deception that my primary opponent is perpetrating. Following that, Mr. Briney endorsed me and said he would do what he could to help. Mr. Briney's views are representative of the feelings of many Republicans that I have met over the years and is an indication of why the Republican Party is getting smaller in California.

You can choose to vote for the candidate that is lobbyist supported, campaign managed by consultants, and has a business as usual policy (my opponent) or support me in my fight to redeem the Republican Party in particular and politics in general.
