Dems Are Destroying California...And Proved It In LB "Town Hall"

Assembly Dems in ELB May 10/08At their recently staged East Long Beach event, Long Beach area Assemblymembers Betty Karnette (D-Long Beach), Warren Furutani (D-Carson-Long Beach), Hector De La Torre (D-Southgate) and Jose Solorio (D- Anaheim) showed that they fail to understand Fiscal Responsibility and continue to pursue a course that will destroy California.

An important Quote attributed to Scottish Historian Alexander Fraser Tytler:

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that time on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship."

An interesting dynamic for the collapse of California from loose fiscal policy is the importation of poverty, primarily from Mexico, Central America, and Asia. Unfortunately this is a Bi-Partisan sellout of American poor and American middle class. The Democrats are looking for both future votes and to increase the employment of public union employees where they derive the bulk of their money from forcing members to pay dues that end up in democrat politician’s pockets. Republicans are almost completely owned by businesses that want to reduce their payrolls by importing subsidized (erroneously called cheap) labor.

The big losers in this dynamic are the American poor that either lose their jobs or have their wages reduced to a wage closer to Mexico and other third world countries. Americans include legal immigrants from all the countries that have to compete with those breaking the laws of the United States of America. Rather than fixing their countries, governments are actually actively exporting their citizens and are getting welfare in the form of remittances sent back to the home countries by their exported citizens. Members of the black community are actually being hunted and killed by illegal alien gang members to get them out of the turf that they claim.

The middle class get to enjoy higher and higher taxes to subsidize these give always to non-citizens and if they complain about being shaken down, they are called racists, nativists, or some other slur to end the conversation. While the middle class is paying for all these services, their neighborhoods are slowly being destroyed and their quality of life continues to degrade.

Assembly Democrats, like the ones who brought their roadshow to Long Beach, show that they're inviting the fiscal meltdown of California by spending too much of the taxpayers' money.
