Tom Marchese is a native of Long Beach and has been active in the community for about 30 years. He will put our interests before special interests.

Tom is an environmental watchdog. He has worked tirelessly to protect our wetlands, waters and air quality.

Tom Marchese spent years in small business and has helped develop and build out major projects. As a professional investor, he understands our economy and this recession’s challenges. He will work hard to attract and retain quality jobs and stimulate our local economy.

Tom understands our neighborhoods having been a homeowners president.

Tom is a coalition builder who can balance competing interests fairly.

His awards include a 2006 Mayor’s proclamation and a residents association award for years of distinguished service to his neighborhood and town.

FLASH: The Marchese for 3rd dist. Council campaign has announced the endorsement of Asssemblyman Hector De La Torre, Chair of the Accountability and Administrative Review Committee. Mr. Marchese said, "Assemblyman De La Torre is a fine man and wonderful advocate who has done great things for many. I am honored by his support and hope to emulate in some small way his advocacy. Assemblyman De La Torre told me, "Keep up the good work. Get out there and win!"

FLASH: The Marchese for 3rd dist. Council campaign has announced the endorsement of retired state Senator/Assemblywoman and longtime LB resident Betty Karnette. "We're honored to have her support," Mr. Marchese said and added "we're receiving enthusiastic backing and are confident voters want us to make changes at City Hall."

On April 13 vote Tom Marchese for City Council. He will fight for us.
