(April 5, 2019, 2:30 p.m.) -- A man was stabbed after a fight Thursday night (April 4) in the 5200 block of E. 2nd St. in Belmont Shore.

LBPD Public Information Officer Shaunna Dandoy says officers responded to a fight call at about 11:30 p.m., learned that a vehicle with a potential suspect had left the scene, located the vehicle, performed a traffic stop and found a man (adult) with a stab wound. LBFD transported him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

LBPD's initial investigation indicates the vehicle's occupants had been involved in a fight and one man (an adult) had been stabbed.
