(April 29, 2020, 11:55 p.m.) -- On April 29, LBREPORT.com reported the following events on our front page and Facebook platform:

  • In a release, the City of Long Beach reported 3 more deaths, bringing LB's death toll to 36...30 of which are associated with LB long term cae facilities..

  • 629 total positive cases (up from 602 yesterday); roughly 377 persons have recovered.

  • City confirms 188 positive cases at a total of 17 LB heath caer facilities (cumulated number); LB Health Dept. says it's currently monitoring 7 facilities with active cases.(including residents and staff.)

    Note re positive cases: The City hasn't routinely tested persons not displaying symptoms (but who may be positive for COVID-19.)
