(April 19, 2021, 5:00 a.m.) -- North Alamitos Beach residents heard gunfire in the 400 block of Rose Ave. (CD 2/Allen) shortly before midnight.

LBPD Watch Commander Lt. Aaron Alu says that on April 18 at about 11:50 p.m, officers were sent to a shots call in the 400 block of Rose Avenue. They found evidnece that a shooting had occurred but couldn't locate any victims or witnesses. LBPD's investigation is ongoing. .
