(August 17, 2019, 11:45 a.m.) -- For the second time in less than two weeks and the third time within two months, residents of NW NLB's Coolidge Triangle (south of Artesia Blvd., west of the L.A. River) heard gunfire and saw police activity.
LBPD Public Information Officer Jennifer De Prez tells LBREPORT.com that on August 16, 2019 at about 11:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots-fired at a dwelling or vehicle in the area of 300 block of E. Scott St...and found two unoccupied vehiles and a residence that appear to have been struck by gunfire. No persons appear to have been hit; there's no suspect description for now.
It was LB's 54th shooting crime scene (fatal + wounding + no-persons-hit) since May 7 (101 days.)

As previously reported by LBREPORT.com, on August 3, a woman arrived at a hospital overnight with a gunshot wound and said she was hit in the area of 350 Neeces St. near Coolidge Park.
About six weeks earlier on June 20, someone shot at a man sitting in a vehicle just west of Coolidge Park; the rounds hit his vehicle but didn't hit him.
