(December 21, 2019, 3:30 p.m.) -- In compliance with Sac'to enacted AB 748 and SB 1421, LBPD has released Oct. 23, 2019 videos showing the midnight hour shooting inside the NLB bar at 1700 E. Artesia Blvd.

Security cam video from inside the bar shows the shooter firing at victims. LBPD body cam video from a patrol officer, flagged down by citizens, shows his arrival, captures the sounds of gunfire from inside the bar, shows what the officer saw when he spotted the shooter through an open door and fired shots from the street that ended the shooting.

The shooter's shots took the life of a bar employee. The officer's shots ended the shooting for which the shooter paid with his life. Some bar patrons managed to flee the building immediately; SWAT later entered and freed other terrified patrons who'd been hiding after the shooting began.
