Story is significantly updated: Cambodian Child, Age 14, Was Fatal Shooting Victim Found Deceased 1400 block St. Louis (CD 4/Supernaw)
(December 17, 2020) -- LB's latest murder is in Councilman Daryl Supernaw's 4th Council district. In a release, LBPD indicates that a male (age not indicated in release) found on the ground in the 1400 block of St. Louis Ave. (a block east of Cherry Ave., a blkock north of Anaheim St.), initially thought to have simply fallen, was in fact fatally shot.

In a Dec. 17 release, LBPD says an original calling party indicated the male individual had fallen and appeared injured. LBFD determined that the man was deceased, observed apparent gunshot wounds and called for a police response (officers were dispatched at about 8:50 p.m. Dec. 16.)

"The motive for the shooting has not been determined although it is being investigated as gang-related," LBPD's release says..
