(December 27, 2020) -- A man was shot and wounded, multiple parked vehicles were hit, at aleast two houss were struck by gunfire in the midnight hour today in NW LB (west of LB Blvd between 91 freeway and Victoria St., CD 9/Richardson)

In preliminary information LBPD overnight Watch Commander Lt Aaron Alu says that at about 12:01 a.m., officers were sent to the area iof LB Blvd./Scott St. regarding a shots call and found a man (adult) with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. LBFD took the victim to a hospital and he's in stable condition.

There's no immediate suspect information; gang detectives responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
