(December 18, 2020) --As promised, Councilman Roberto Uranga moved to adjourn the December 15 City Council meeting to honor Tom Stout, a visble and audible civic presence on behalf of neighborhood residents and taxpayers citywide for roughly three decades. Mr. Stout, who co-founded the LB Taxpayers Association, passed away Dec. 5.

Councilman Uranga said Mr. Stout was "committed to the City. He was committed to his neighborhood. He was committed to being a very important part of our City." Citing Mr. Stout's long-time involvement in the Wrigley neighborhood and as a co-writer of ballot arguments on city ballot measures, Councilman Uranga called Mr. Stout's civic engagement "unparalled "
