(Feb 4, 2019, 11:05 p.m.) -- LBREPORT.com provides "Follow the Money" coverage below showing the entities and individuals who provided early money to advance 1st district Long Beach Councilwoman Lena Gonzalez to the state Senate..
As of Feb. 4, the CA Secretary of State's website lists three active pro-Gonzalez campaign committees: "Lena Gonzalez for Senate 2019" and "Lena Gonzalez for Senate 2020" (they're separate, but the candidate can move money between them.) [Whoever wins in 2019 will have to seek re-election in 2020.] There's also a presumed independent expenditure committee formed by persons or entities unclear at this point -- "Proven Progress PAC, A Committee Supporting Lena Gonzalez for Senate 2019" -- which hasn't listed any contributions as of Feb. 4.
