(Feb 20, 2019, 9:55 p.m.) -- Some or all of the major U.S. Democrat Presidential candidates will likely come to Long Beach in mid-November, as the CA Democratic Party has scheduled its endorsement convention for the weekend of Nov. 15-17 in Long Beach.

Sergio Carrillo (represents CA Dem Party Region 16/Assembly districts 58, 63, 66, 70) made the announcement at the Feb. 21 meeting of the LB Democratic Club, noting that [under CA's newly adopted election schedule], CA's absentee/vote by mail ballots for President will drop in first week of February...before the Iowa caucuses.

The change in CA's election schedule, enacted by Sacramento lawmakers, makes the Golden State's voters an early Presidential race target.
