(Jan. 31, 2019) -- Someone fired shots at two victims, missing them but striking and damaging a vehicle, in the area of 67th St./Paramount Blvd. (9th dist.) this morning (Jan. 31) at about 1:20 a.m.

LBPD overnight Watch Commander Lt. Gerry Prieto says three suspects, one of whom had a gun, walked up to the victims, fired shots at them (evidence recovered by LBPD), missed hitting the victims but struck at least one vehicle, and the suspects fled.

Lt. Prieto notes that LASD is currently investigating a robbery that occurred a bit earlier and a bit north in the area of Paramount/Rosecrans to determine if it may be related.
