(Jan. 6, 2020) -- A man (adult) was shot/wounded on Jan. 4 shortly before 11 a.m. in the 100 block of E. 69th St. in the NW corner of NLB near the Compton border.
LBPD Public Information Officer Jennifer De Prez says the vicim and suspect (an adult man) "engaged in s confrontation with one another which led to the shooting." LBFD transported the victim to a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound; the suspect is outstanding.
