(Feb. 1, 2020, 5:15 p.m.) -- LBREPORT.com's "Follow the Money" coverage details contributors below to Cindy Allen's campaign for LB's 2nd dist. Council seat. As of January 18, 2020 Ms. Allen's campaign committee had the second largest amount of cash on hand ($47,231, raised nearly $60k, spent about $20k), second to Reform-Ticket candidate Robert Fox ($56,029 cash on hand) who announced his candidacy in June 2019 meeting of the Alamitos Beach Neighborhood Ass'n on the Broadway road diet (LBREPORT.com coverage here.) Mr. Fox then put up $50,000 of his own money to launch his campaign. Ms. Allen and her husband Randall Allen (retired LBPD Commander, now with Port of Los Angeles law enforcement) gave $400 each to Ms. Allen's Council campaign.

Ms. Allen has previously contributed sums to support the re-elections of Mayor Robert Garcia, Councilmembers Lena Gonzalez, Suzie Price, Stacy Mungo [in June 2018 runoff; contributed sum in Feb. 2018 to 5th dist. challenger Rich Dines when Corliss Lee was vying with Dines for a runoff spot], Roberto Uranga, Al Austin (2016), Rex Richarson and most recently to 1st district Nov. 2019 Council candidate (Garcia-Gonzalez endorsee) Mary Zendejas.

Ms. Allen owned ETA Advertising which had a six figure contract with the City of LB (visible visible here) and declared her 2nd dist. Council candidacy in mid-October (LBREPORT.com coverage here) after divesting herself of ETA Advertising. Until mid-June 2018, ETA Advertising owned/operated LBPost.com, which was acquired by and is now owned/operated by a subsidiary of Pacific6 Enterprises.
