(Jan. 18, 2021) -- Gunfire struck three parked vehicles and two residneces in the area of the 4900 block of Los Coyotes Diagonal (east of the Traffic Circle, west of Stearns St. @ Beverly Plaza) on Sunday night in Coumcilman Daryl Supernaw's 4th Council disrict.

It's LB's 24th shooting crime scene (includes CD 9 homicide) since Jan. 1 and the second shooting with casings found, no person hit in CD 4 since Jan. 1, 2021.

LBPD Watch Commander Brandon Deis tells LBREPORT.com (preliminary information) that on Sunday Jan, 17, 2021 at about 10:27 p.m., East Division Patrol Officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots in the area of 4900 Los Coyotes Diagonal.

Officers found three parked,unoccupied vehicles struck by gunfire and bullet strike marks to the exterior of two residences. Officers contacted occupsnts of the residneces and found no injuries were reported. For now, a motive hasn't been identified; there's no suspect information and LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
