(Jan. 25, 2021) -- At late afternoon June 25, the City of Long Beach included the following statement in its daily COVID-19 update: The Health Department is aware of a situation in California in which multiple potential adverse events were reported after vaccination with a specific lot of Moderna vaccine (Moderna Lot 041L20A) at a community vaccination clinic outside of Long Beach. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State researched the event and the lot has been cleared for distribution. The City has received a shipment of vaccine from this lot and will proceed with distribution. -
