(Jan. 27, 2021, 9:03 a.m.) -- City of Long Beach management spokesperson Jennifer Rice Epstein this morning acknowledged in response to previous inquiries by LBREPORT.com that the City has roughly 15,000 persons on its COVID-19 65+ vaccine "waiting list."

LBREPORT.com has previously reported that at least 90% of teachers and educational personnel have been unable to receive vaccines, despite media events staged by Mayor Garcia to convey a contrary impression.

LBREPORT.com reiterated our request (which we were prevented from posing live to the Mayor during yesterday's Jan. 26 "press conference") how many in the emergency services sector (in addition to 65+ and teachers) are on a waiting list.

Further to follow on these matters.
