    LB Harbor Commission Puts Hankla & Steinke In ACTA Governing Board Seats

    (July 22, 2003) -- In a publicly agendized action, the LB Board of Harbor Commissioners voted on July 21 to name former Alameda Corridor CEO Jim Hankla (who left the ACTA post to accept appointment to the LB Harbor Commission) as one of the Port of LB's two members on ACTA's seven member governing board.

    LB Harbor Commissioners named Port of LB Exec. Dir. Richard Steinke to the the Port's other ACTA Board seat.

    Hankla and Steinke replace out termed out former Harbor Commissioners Carmen Perez and Roy Hearrean as members of ACTA's Governing Board.

    The ACTA Board's other members are LB Vice Mayor Frank Colonna (chair), L.A. City Councilmember Janice Hahn (vice chair), L.A. County Supervisor Don Knabe, L.A. Port Commissioner Thomas Warren and L.A. Port Exec. Dir. Larry Keller.
