(July 25, 2020, 6:35 a.m.) -- A man (adult) is last reported at predawn in critical condition after a Friday night shooting (July 24) in the 3300 block of E. 67th St. (north of Artesia Blvd./adjacent to the southern side of the 91 freeway between Paramount Blvd./Downey Ave.)

The crime scene is two blocks north of a July 9 drive-by shooting in the 3300 block of E. 6t5th St. (south of Artesia Blvd near Ramona Park, LBREPORT.com coverage here..)

In the most recent shooting, LBPD overnight Watch Commander Lt. Shaleana Benson tells LBREPORT.com (preliminary information) that at about 10:15 p.m. July 24, officers responded to the 3300 block of E. 67th St and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, and LBFD transported him to a hospital (critical condition.)

Officers located a crime scene but no witnesses (no one saw or heard anything.) LBPD is investigating the shooting as possibly gang related.
