(July 9, 2020, 6:15 p.m.) -- A man was shot/wounded along NLB's Artesia Blvd. corridor in the predawn hours of Monday July 6.

LBPD Public Information Officer Arantxa Chavarria tells LBREPORT.com that at about 3:40 a.m. on July 6, officers were sent to the 2500 block of Artesia Blvd. (near Paramount Blvd.) and found that the victim (a man/adult) had driven himself to a hospital.

The reason for the shooting isn't known; but gang detectives responded to conduct an investigation. There's no suspect description available,
