(July 20, 2020, 6:55 a.m.) -- A man was shot/wounded in the midnight hour today (July 20) in the area of Anaheim St./Walnut Ave. (Cambodia Town/6th district.)

LBPD overnight Watch Comander Lt. G. Brown says a caller reported hearing the gunfire at about 12:45 a.m. Officers found a man in the area of Anaheim/Walnut with a gunshot wound; LBFD transported him to a hospital (last reported in stable condition.)

There's no immediate suspect description. LBPD officers were on scene actively investigating the shooting in the overnight hours.
